What else is here to discover

You will not get bored here

As an alternative to hiking or as a bad weather program, there is much to discover:

Brixen

the third largest city in South Tyrol, once bishop's seat, captivates with its typical charm, the beautiful old town with Hofburg, Brixen Cathedral and Parish Church and numerous museums, which can be visited for the most part thanks to Brixen Card for free.

Bozen

Our state capital is always worth a visit! The fruit market and the old town with the arbours invite you to stroll. There are interesting things to see, for example in the Ötzimuseum, in the Museum of Natural History or in the Messner Mountain Museum of our well-known compatriot Reinhold Messner (these 3 museums are also included in the Brixen Card)

Monastery of Neustift

just outside Brixen is the monastery of Neustift with its beautiful cloister, the church of the angels and a monastery cellar, where wine tastings are also offered.

Kalterer See

south of Bozen is located "Badesee"- the place of origin of the world-famous "Kalterer See" red wine

Schaubergwerk Ridnaun/Schneeberg

The highest mine in Europe and the longest mining in the Alps with impressive tunnels.

Ritten

The well-known high plateau above Bozen offers a wonderful view from above and captivates by a unique landscape. Can be reached from Bolzano by cable car. To the Ritten you can then ride on the Rittnerbahn to Klobenstein and there wander to the well-known earth pyramids. And best of all: bus, train to Bolzano, cable car on the Ritten and the Rittnerbahn are included in the Brixen Card!

Lake Garda

About 200 km from us is the beautiful Lake Garda "Gardasee" with its picturesque villages and the culinary and scenic highlights of our southern neighbors.

This is only a small insight into possible sights ... because we don't want to reveal everything, we would rather discuss more destinations personally here.
